Calendar

On April 1st, 2016 (during Sarcoidosis Awareness Month), I committed to raising $100,000 for Sarcoidosis research and patient assistance by climbing at least 100,000 steps on trails and landmark staircases throughout the US and raising funds through donations and sales of my book Getting Better.  I will keep stepping for as long as it takes to reach this goal.

Everyone is welcome to join me on my Steps to Getting Better events. Most are informal events. I simply show up and start stepping. Others are semi-organized where we have a larger group of friends, patients and family members join.

NEW! We are now actively seeking corporate sponsors to help support the cause through our Take The Stairs Day. Participating employees agree to forgo the elevator and take the stairs for a day in an effort to raise both awareness of Sarcoidosis and funds for research. Our hope is that they will not take their good health for granted and will think about joining the cause to aid Sarcoidosis sufferers.

Donations can be made directly to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) at: https://www.stopsarcoidosis.org/how-you-can-help-win-the-fight/

100% of the proceeds from donations and book sales go directly to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR).   Please consider having your company or organization join us with Steps To Getting Better.
